2013-2014 Yearly Theme
Our yearly theme is based on John 4:23.
There is a big difference between waking up and being awakened. When you are awakened, it is always for a purpose. God’s promises are ushered in through our obedience. As believers, we often embrace the concept of a one-time repentance of our sins so that we can saved through faith in Jesus. Then, we often fall into the kind of complacency that plagued the Israelites during their time in the Promised Land and the same kind of complacency Jesus found when he began his ministry. Repentance is a willingness to acknowledge things in your life that can keep you from following God without barriers or excuses and having a desire to change. It’s like driving the wrong way down a one-way street. Being sorry isn’t enough. You need to STOP driving the direction you’re going and change direction as QUICKLY as possible. If you fail to change direction, a wreck will occur. God can help protect you from this!
Cre8 Awakening is about discovering God’s purpose for your life and committing to live it out – no matter how long it takes or what obstacles you face! Sacrifice is obedience no matter what. Worship is obedience for the world to see. To live this kind of sacrifice and worship, your soul needs awakened, your purpose needs awakened, your strength needs awakened. As you become more alive in Christ, your home will never be the same and you will be able to help others come alive as well. This is what our homes need. This is what our world needs.
If you believe your soul needs awakened, join us this year as we strive to make the most of every day, knowing each day we’re awakened for an ordained purpose.
